The Beginning

2 Tim 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness. The bible is how God speaks to us. It contains sixty-six books: 39 Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. The old Testament is refered to as the Law. It is where Moses recieved the Law from God to give to Israel in Exodus 31. Israel was God's chosen people, who evolved into the New Testament Jewish nation. The New Testament is where the perfect Law of Liberty is found in James 1:25. It has what we need to do to be a Christian. A Christian is not bound by the law of Moses but by the Law of Liberty. By reading both, the old testament and the new, it will help us understand God's word more perfectly.
Gal 3:24 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. Heb 10:1 says "For the Law, since it was only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifice which they offered continually year by year , make perfect those who draw near." The law is a tutor for us. It was a shadow of the good things to come. Heb 9:24 says,"it is a mere copy of the true one." Throughout Leviticus and other books in the old testament we find that man sacrificed animals for forgiveness of sin. In the new testament , Heb 9:12 says "Christ is our sacrifice." Through out the old testament, there were high priests. In the new testament,
"Christ is our High Priest," Heb 9:11.
Heb 13:11 "offerings for sin are burned outside the camp in the old testament. In the New Testament, " Heb 13:12 "Jesus was sacrificed outside the gate."
Keep this in mind and you will see that through out the bible the old testament is a shadow or a copy of the new.
Purpose
2 Cor 5:20 "Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on the behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." There are many different beliefs everywhere. What does the bible (God) say about this? Phil 2: 2 "Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose." 1Co 1:10 "Now I exhort you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgement."
Acts 2:44 "And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common."
Eph 4:5 "one Lord, ,one Faith, one Baptism."
Eph 5:25-32 explains that thee church is the bride of Christ.
Rev 19:7. Jesus is the bridegroom and will come for His bride.
John 3:29. The bridegroom is coming for the bride.
Will the Bridegroom come take more than one bride!?
Man makes mistakes. God does not make any mistakes. This is why we must look to Gods word,"the gospel", for the truth. John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them in truth, Your word is truth." John 12:48 : "he who rejects Me and does not recieve My sayings, has the one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him in the last day." I pray that this web site help everyone who uses it. Let us understand how important unity and rightly dividing the word of truth is. Make no mistake! Our soul depends on it!
In efforts to be united a Memory Verse Group is on Facebook to memorize and to better understand what we read. You are invited to join. Invite your friends also. You can get there through my Facebook page if you need to. Whether you know very little or are well versed, you are welcome. We can learn together, however we must use a verse for the answer. Bible answers to bible questions. We must know that we are teaching the right thing. James 3:1: "Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such will incure a stricter judgment."
Rev 22:10 "And he said to me, Do not seal up the words of this prophecy of this book, for the time is near." The book is left open that you and I may read and be ready for Christ coming.(11) "Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy." Jesus is coming when we are living our lives as we do.
(12)"Behold,I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. "
What have you done!? It is not to late to be saved!
Acts16:30 ..... and asked,"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
